1961

Two last frescos in the Cathedral of Caltanissetta:
“The Pentecost” and “The Ascension”.
The Istituto San Paolo of Turin asks him to paint the portraits of all its Presidents from Mr. Giovanni Giolitti M.P. to Mr. Jona.

1962

In the Church of La Loggia, two tempera paintings “The Resurrection” and “The Ascension”.
For the Church of Sesto Calende sketches and preparatory drawings for three mosaics.
Fresco “The Piety” for the tomb of painter Paolo Gaidano (a former teacher of his at the Academy) in Poirino Torinese.

1963

Portraits for the Balbis and Giolitti families of Turin
Studies of nudes
Stay on the Coast of Amalfi to paint views.
Last frescos in the Church of La Loggia : the cupola with “The Glory of Saint Jacob” and two walls.

1964

Stay in Sassello (Savona), a small town in the Ligurian inland to paint views.
The fresco “The Transport of the House of Loreto” in the Sancturary of Graglia (Biella)
Pastel paintings of figures using models in his studio.

1965

In the Sanctuary of Oropa (Biella) the fresco “The Crucifixion”.
Views of the hills around Turin and portraits.

1966

14 canvases depicting the Stations of the Cross for the Molinette Hospital in Turin.

1967

He turns eighty years old and celebrates on the scaffoldings of the frescos in the Churches of Sesto Calende “The Blessed Heart” and Bottigliera Alta (the facade).
These are his last frescos. It is the conclusion of a long period started in 1922 which brought him throughout Italy to see several places and encounter different people with who he always developed deep friendships which lasted all his life.

1968-1970

He is appointed vice-president of the Artists’ Association for a two-year period from ’68 to ’70.

1971-1973

He alternates long stays in San Remo and on Lake Garda always painting views with periods of work in his studio to paint still natures and portraits among which that of Mr. Catella M.P. and of Count Janon.
